PILATES IS A FORM OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE DEVELOPED IN THE 1920’S BY JOSEPH PILATES HIMSELF. PILATES CALLED HIS METHOD 'CONTROLOGY’.

Did a 6-week Pilates course. Really changed my perspective on Pilates as I haven’t done it previously. I really felt the muscles strengthening week by week. I will continue with Pilates. Sahir is an excellent teacher. Very encouraging. Highly recommend

This was my first PT session and it was very well done. We mainly focused on core stability in core, upper, lower and compound moves as well as walking and running stances. I thought it’d be just a posture checking session, but I really did get a full body workout and was aching the next day! I finally understand what it means to “engage your core” during a workout and it really makes a huge difference. We spoke briefly about nutrition and that was helpful also. I would really recommend having a session.

I woke up aching as I expected but surprisingly the ache is not uncomfortable, I believe this is due to the knowledge and understanding of how the body works and helping me physically to stretch out. I can strongly recommend Sahir’s Pilates classes. They have really helped my back and neck issues as well as strengthening my core. Sahir has a wonderful way of teaching Pilates ensuring that she provides Pilates moves for every ability level. She includes a variety of equipment such as stretch bands and Pilates balls into many of the classes. She has a kind and patient approach to her teaching and gets to know each person to ensure that everyone is challenged sufficiently. I always look forward to every class.

This was the first time I had taken a Pilates class and thoroughly enjoyed the beginner sessions. Sahir is an excellent teacher. I loved the way she described the movements in her warm and encouraging manner. She allowed you to work at your own ability in a friendly and intimate environment. Exercises covered arms, legs and core and I felt the workout on my body the next day! All the requisite equipment, eg mat, cushions and ball were provided. I would highly recommend Sahir and her facilities.
